Secret Free Update in BitLife!

A new surprise feature has arrived in BitLife without any official announcement – and it’s a game-changer. Players can now hack into other characters’ computers and bank accounts as part of the crime system. This update wasn’t advertised on BitLife’s social media, and it may not yet be available for Android, but iOS users can access it right now by updating the app.

Update Your Game

Before anything else, head over to unlocked BitLife and make sure you’ve updated BitLife to the latest version. The hacking feature won’t show up unless you’re using the updated version of the app.

Age Your Character to 18

The hacking option is not available until your character turns 18. Age up your BitLife character until they become a legal adult. At age 18, you’ll unlock access to more crimes, including the new cyber crime option.

Choose a Victim to Hack

BitLife will present you with a list of possible targets to hack. These are randomized but can include people like:

  • A Random Socialite
  • Airline Pilot
  • Lawyer
  • Mobster
  • Brewmaster
  • Your Own Brother
  • Venture Capitalist

Choose one — the higher their status, the more money you’re likely to steal.

Complete the Hacking Mini-Game

After selecting your target, you’ll enter a mini-game where you must:

  • Connect the logic pathways (dots) before time runs out (15 seconds).
  • This is the same game from the Spy Expansion Pack, but now it’s completely free.
  • Success depends entirely on your speed and accuracy — not on random luck.

If you succeed, you’ll hack into the bank account and steal anywhere from $7,000 to $8,000.

Risks and Challenges

  • Failing the mini-game or running out of time means your device gets traced.
  • Police will show up, and your character will be arrested for fraud.
  • Even successful hacks can sometimes result in getting caught – just like with burglary or grand theft auto.
  • Jail time is usually short around one year, but it can still impact your character’s path.
